Fiction - General & Romance

General fiction is the catch all term for novels and other literature that don't fit into a particular genre. Romance, Western, mystery, science fiction and other genres each have a particular theme that is fitting to its classification.

A romance novel or romantic novel generally refers to a type of novel which places its primary focus on the relationship and romantic love and usually has an "emotionally satisfying and optimistic ending."
